We are a small family business. Steve and Val Craddock have been growing plants here for over 22 years, with over 30 years experience in growing trees and shrubs and garden plants. So we can offer you extensive advice on all your planting needs, whether you are embarking on the development of a new garden or having your garden re-designed, looking for feature plants or specimens. Perhaps you’re looking to buy a plant as a present for a friend, or you need to plant a hedge, or fill a gap in your garden.

We grow many plants here and we have extensive contacts with other specialist producers in this country and Europe to help us source requirements.

Trees and shrubs : are available all year round with a range of sizes. We offer field grown open-ground bare-root and rootballed trees in the autumn and winter, and potted trees all year round.

Conifers : are available in pots all year round and rootballed in the autumn and winter.

Hedging: all types and sizes of hedging are available from bare-root and rootballed in the autumn and winter with potted available all year round.

Fruit trees: apples, pears, plums, cherries, damsons, etc.  We take your orders for these in September for bare-root trees through the autumn, winter and early spring. Potted fruit trees are available spring and summer and soft fruit bushes we sell in the spring and autumn.

Spring and summer Bedding Plants and autumn Bedding plants are seasonally grown here to give your garden beautiful colours at these times of the year. We make up hanging baskets in different sizes for the spring/summer in April and May and take orders to cater for your individual preferences and for the autumn/winter season in September.

We use a specialist professional grower compost range on our nursery and we sell this to you also through our plant centre, together with screened manure and organic soil conditioner.

So if you’re a keen gardener or a novice, please come and visit us.

We are also trade suppliers to the professional gardener, landscape trades, nurseries and garden designers, with contacts in these professions.

We wish you well in your garden through the coming seasons.
